The Face Shop Rice & Ceramide Moisturizing Cream review

Hi all 🙂

After years of trying and testing different skincare products, I figured out that my skin either Likes the brand or not. Whatever the price range is, if one product from brand works all of the other product works, if it doesn’t it just doesn’t.
The Faceshop is one such brand which works for me, I can blindly buy anything from this brand.

My skin type: Oily ( During winter and monsoons, it tends to get dehydrated yet oily, gets moody at times). So last year when My felt a little dehydrated I went for this product, reading many reviews.

My views on The Face Shop Rice & Ceramide Moisturizing Cream

Packaging : Comes in a bulky glass tub with the screw cap on it.
Texture: Milky creamy like a thick emulsion. Spreads very easily on face.
Has a mild fragrance to it.

Being a oily skin person, an extremely small amount is required for my face. This faceshop rice cream is very potent and heavy on the skin. So I usually use this during night time. It works as one of those sleeping mask for me.
I wake upto baby soft hydrated skin. It does fade scars little by little, but I would suggest go for this if your main concern is moisturizing skin from underneath. And it gives a glow to face making it appear healthy from within.

During this pandemic time I use this in morning too on alternate days and my skin is hydrated and supple the whole day. After applying, massaging it on skin, I leave it a good 10-15 mins before I layer it with matte moisturizer or a powder on top.

Due to its creamy texture, it doesn’t sit pretty, under foundation. So its better used for night time if you are oily skinned person. This moisturizer has rice extracts, rice bran oil, ceramide and lecithin and made especially for dry skin girls. So this definitely is a treat for dry skin.

The Face Shop Rice & Ceramide Moisturizing Cream is on the pricier side, but you need such a little quantity, the tub is going to last you long long time. And its, paraben free

If you can afford it and if the Faceshop products work for you I say you can try. It does work for all skin types, just that you have to be ready to bear that heaviness on the skin.
Price : INR 920 for 50 Ml

Does your skin is brand specific? have your tried this?

Live life to the Fullest
