About the product, Ingredients and How To Use :
My experience with Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub :
The scrub comes in a matte squeezy tube. I really like when product comes in tube packaging. It is not only convenient, less messy, travel friendly but hygienic as well. This one too is no different. The exfoliating granules of the scrub has is very very finely milled. The scrub is pale green in colour. The scrub has this pleasant smell to it, I can’t really relate it to anything.
Once you start spreading the scrub on the face you are welcomed with the cooling sensation on the face. The granular are not harsh to touch and post scrubbing it successfully manages to exfoliate your skin. Removes dullness without drying out the skin. Does remove the blackheads but not completely. Once I have washed off the face, it did not dry out the skin at all. The skin felt extremely smooth to touch as if I have butter on the face. Even while washing it off you get that buttery slippery feel.
Post scrubbing if I have time I leave the scrub as mask for about 5-10 minutes. That way the glow I get on face lasts a bit longer than usual.
But, one needs to know this part of this scrub:
I find the finely milled granules becoming aggressive to skin if you start rubbing your face mindlessly. I once aggressively mindlessly rubbed my skin around nose, I saw the bump the next day. If you already have a rash, breakout or something skipping that area would be ideal. Also when left as a mask on the face don’t wait till it dries, because the drier it gets harsher it feels while washing it off.
This can be used on the Body as well. It is very effective and the scrubbing mindlessly does not feel harsh. On it’s own it did not break me out but the mindless scrubbing movements did.
I have oily skin and I am sure it will suit every skin type out there. But I suggest Sensitive skin girls to give it a skip. The Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub is a good scrub, exfoliates the skin thoroughly, removes dullness gives a glow without drying out the skin. But I honestly dint know the other side of it until I bought it myself. The trick is to gently massage the skin and not over do it and if left on the face as mask taking it off while it’s in its wet/moist state. I won’t be repurchasing this and planning to use the rest only for body. I do recommend this but remember the points I have mentioned.
Have you used this scrub? Do you have the same opinion as I have?
