My experience with this :
Since few months, My pimple battling Army seems to have given up. My skin too, gets used to products soon. So while hopping from one product to another, this time I have picked up La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel . It’s famous already, so I will keep the review short.
The Foaming Gel comes in white tube with the blue flip cap. You have to squeeze the tube to get the product out. The product does not have any colour to it and falls in between liquid and gel. It has a fresh fragrance to it which is mild.
I have been using this just like they have advised. That is take a little amount, wet the face and massage it on the face. It lathers quite nicely. I leave it on the face for about a minute when I use this during night time. It thoroughly cleanses the face, removing the dirt and grime without drying out the face. It also removes BB creams of the face. After I have used this I see that the extra oiliness has come in control. It has stopped the zits I get due to sweat and due to external reasons. But the pimples I get due to internal reasons, the ones I get due to new product usage was not prevented but got tamed as soon as they popped out. The redness was reduced in no time, also the pimple dint grow in size.
It is on the pricier side but you can catch this during sales just like me. And little goes a long way. Plus comes in different sizes, so you can go for the smaller one , like me. If your skin is not troubled by something or not sensitive you might not see any difference and it might be like just another face wash. However if your skin is having some issues, or you just want a gentle facewash which cleanses the skin well, do give this a try. As for me I want to add some more La Roche-Posay products to my skincare.
Have you used this? Which is your favourite face wash currently?

I heard a lot of good things about this brand. Loved the review; seems so ideally beneficial for my acne prone skin 🙂 My face too has been attacked by acne :’-( Plus their thermal spring water, I wanna try that out too 😀 Definitely a product to buy on Sales *grin*
Even I have many of the products in wishlist and getting them for sure, I guess it will be beneficial for the skin too 🙂
I have used this and it’s pretty good.. Nice review..
Thanks Amrutaa 🙂
Great brand and it’s product hardly disappoint.
Need to try more 🙂
La Roche Posay has been on my wishlist for a long time. Thanks for the review. I think this is a good face wash for oily skin. Will try it…
Glad this helped. Yeah, it removes the excess oil from the face. Do try 🙂
Nice review :). My current favourite is Kama Ayurveda Rose Jasmine face cleanser 🙂
I am going for that next 🙂
Lovely review. Will wait for sale season to buy this pricey face wash:D

Thanks. How is it? 🙂
I have been using this and loving it totally 🙂 it works extremely well for my oily-sensitive skin 🙂
Hain na. Initially I dint notice, but later I realized that it is controlling over oil secretion effectively 🙂
Are you using any other product from La Roche Posay?
It sounds like a really nice face wash! I’ve heard of the brand before, but I don’t think I’ve tried anything from them yet. Maybe I’ll try and track this down? 🙂
Do try to track down, its worth it 🙂
I am also going through pimple attack these days.. Hope it will work in my case 😉
Fingers crossed 🙂
Eyeing this and waiting for the sale.. this looks effective… 🙂
It is. My face doesn’t get excessively oily anymore as the days are passing by 🙂
Since i don’t have an oily skin i will skip it but it seems to be great product but i will suggest it to my sister.
Oh.. Yup definitely for Oily skin.
I have 2 small tubes of these that I received in one of the subscription boxes, yet to try it, but this is one of the most raved cleanser from La Roche Posay
Yeah. Do try them 🙂
I know they are pricey but they are worth the price, nice review. I have the Ducray Keracynl which is almost like this product.
Ahh haan.. i’ll keep that brand in mid 🙂
Sounds like a facewash for the oily and ache affected skin. It won’t do for skin that’s like mine that is neither oily or acne prone… I like it that it is a soap free product(:
Nice review girlie! For my combination skin it is little drying… gives me a stretchy feel post wash which is not good 😐
