I have allways loved the concept of lip and cheek tint. Specially after seeing the YSL ones I allways wanted to own one.
I mean if it works imagine it would be 2-1 products and would be a boon while travelling for touch ups in short Life saver.
You see whenever I buy something the first thing I see is whether the product is travel friendly and can it be used in multiple ways.
So when NYX launched in India I thought of giving NYX Whipped Lip and Cheek Souffle in Berry Tea a try.

My Experience with NYX Berry Tea Whipped Lip and Cheek Souffle:
Packaging: The soufflé has a sturdy plastic packaging which has a Black cap. The bottle colour is same as that of the shade. The applicator is attached to the cap and has leaf shape. This applicator reaches every nook and corner and twists of your lips. I actually love it. While using it on the face you can use the tip of it.
Shade: It says Berry Tea and it is Berry minus the Tea. Not a very useful description!! Isn’t it?? =)). Just that it is pretty subtle pink berry shade. It gives the natural flush to cheeks. Though on lips its not that intense, still looks pretty.
Texture/Pigmentation: The texture is extremely light weight like a air whipped soufflé itself. On lips the soufflé glides smoothly, even on skin it blends beautifully. Pigmentation wise it can give clown cheeks. It comes out that pigmented however on lips it is medium to buildable.
On lips: The soufflé starts of glossy and bright, after a while it sets into semi matte finish. It starts losing its sharp shade little by little with the time. Stays for about 3-4 hours. Though buildable due to its soufflé form if you keep swiping the product on the lips it might bleed a little. Remember only if you swipe it more. It is neither hydrating nor moisturizing and does not settle into fine lines. Scrubbing the lips prior to lips is required.
On Cheeks: Ahh you gotta be careful. One dot is all you need. It blends pretty easily .Personally I love blending this with the brush but fingers can be used to blend as well. With brush it not only blends the product with ease but also picks up the excess from the skin. If fingers are used it gets stained by light pink shade. I have oily skin and it has a beautiful formula to break down anything that goes on it -_- . Still this blush manages to survive for about 4 hours. The performance prolongs when I use the authentic makeup routine that is foundation, setting spray on top of it. Also while layering the products for long days this can be used as a base for powder based blush. For dry skinned girls I am sure this will stay 6+ hours. It does not accentuate pores on the skin and no irritation to the skin. The finish is little dewy.
Pretty Berry shade, Not drying on lips, Did not break me out, Stays for decent amount of time, 2-1 product and travel friendly, Blends easily
Transfers, Priced doubly in India, Might not be for pigmented lips, needs scrubbed lips
I love it and it has found a permanent place in my travel pouch. After all it’s Berry and can be used on cheeks and lips. Pretty sure it is going to last long when the
temperature goes to the cooler side.
If you are able to buy it for its original price, would say pop one in your basket right away.
In India, get it if you can’t resist or you wanted to own a 2-1 product. Can be tried but do keep the cons in mind. As for me the day I get it in it’s original price I am getting it in a shade called Dark cloud.
Have you tried this? Do you like multi tasking product?
