Handmade Hemp soap and Rhododendron Cold pressed soap : review
Hello All 🙂
Again these soaps were the part of my Shimla-Kulu-Manali trip, just like the Rose water I reviewed few days ago.
There were plenty of natural,handmade, preservative free soaps in the Tibetian Emporium I went in Manali, Mall Road. Though I could have gone bonkers, but
then what if’s came in mind and picked up only two soaps.
1.Handmade Hemp soaps– Because I know Hemp is good and it was familiar.
2.Rhododendron Cold pressed soap– Because I could not pronounce the flower name there. Go judge me 😛
Performance wise these got be the luxurious affordable soaps according to my Mum. It lathers, cleanses the body well and gets washed off easily. But the luxuries feel it gives when it touches the skin, is feeling on it’s own. The moment it starts it’s journey on the skin you just know that it has all the oils mentioned in the ingredients list in a huge portion and not just in bits. and it is doing good to your skin.
The oils in it moisturizes the skin without leaving any layer behind or being heavy. It’s just right. In addion to that it also makes the skin silky smooth. Making the skin texture good. I am sure even the dry skinned girls can skip the lotions afterwards. Not to mention no irritation to the skin , I have used it on the face as well and it worked well.
Having too much oil in it, the soap is soft on it’s own, which is bound to. And it gets softer when it comes in contact with water. You have to dry it nicely. Both the soaps have herbal scent to it. Though Rhododendron soaps looks like it has some grains in it, it is nothing but dried real flower petal. It is soft and it doesnot really have any job to do. It’s just for decoration.
These are just pure Luxurious soaps I picked up from Manali Mall road, Tibetan emporium at 130 INR each. Natural, handmade and made by self help groups. Run to hill
station and pick this up asap. Lol 🙂

I rarely use bar soap. I just don’t find it practical.
Recently I am liking the handmade soaps a lot. Too many variety’s have come in market , may be thats why 😀

Looks like I need to plan a Manali trip soon 😀 My hands are so dry especially post bathing and I am too lazy to moisturize them :’-D this would be like one solution to lazy people like me 😉

I haven’t used a bar soap in ages. I don’t even remember the last time i used it. Nonetheless amazing review. I think i should try hand made soaps.
