My experience with this :
Since few months, My pimple battling Army seems to have given up. My skin too, gets used to products soon. So while hopping from one product to another, this time I have picked up La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel . It’s famous already, so I will keep the review short.
The Foaming Gel comes in white tube with the blue flip cap. You have to squeeze the tube to get the product out. The product does not have any colour to it and falls in between liquid and gel. It has a fresh fragrance to it which is mild.
I have been using this just like they have advised. That is take a little amount, wet the face and massage it on the face. It lathers quite nicely. I leave it on the face for about a minute when I use this during night time. It thoroughly cleanses the face, removing the dirt and grime without drying out the face. It also removes BB creams of the face. After I have used this I see that the extra oiliness has come in control. It has stopped the zits I get due to sweat and due to external reasons. But the pimples I get due to internal reasons, the ones I get due to new product usage was not prevented but got tamed as soon as they popped out. The redness was reduced in no time, also the pimple dint grow in size.
It is on the pricier side but you can catch this during sales just like me. And little goes a long way. Plus comes in different sizes, so you can go for the smaller one , like me. If your skin is not troubled by something or not sensitive you might not see any difference and it might be like just another face wash. However if your skin is having some issues, or you just want a gentle facewash which cleanses the skin well, do give this a try. As for me I want to add some more La Roche-Posay products to my skincare.
Have you used this? Which is your favourite face wash currently?
